Georgia Department of Education Mental Health Awareness Training Project

A RESA / GaDOE Collaboration

Since 2018, the Georgia Department of Education has partnered with the sixteen Regional Education Service Agencies to provide mental health awareness training (MHAT) to school staff through the RESA/GaDOE MHAT Project. The Project brings high-quality, evidence-informed and evidence-based training to schools and districts throughout the state, regardless of location or size, through a network of training partners. This menu of trainings is designed to support the mental health awareness of staff at all levels of prevention and intervention, from awareness to gatekeeper. Click the link below to request training for your school or district, or contact your local RESA.
For questions, please email MHATScheduling@doe.k12.ga.us.

ATTENTION: Until further notice, scheduling of MHAT requests is on hold. If you have submitted a request in the past two weeks and have not yet received a confirmation, your request will be addressed as soon as scheduling resumes. If you have already received confirmation for a request, the training will continue as scheduled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We expect scheduling to resume in mid to late February. 01/12/2023
